The Department of Geography at the University of Utah provides a wide spectrum of opportunities within the Geography discipline.  Degree programs at the undergrad level include a B.A. and B.S. major and a geography minor, a Geography Teaching major and minor, and a Social Science Teaching major.  A GIS Certificate program is also available, allowing students to focus on Applied GIS, Remote Sensing, GIS Application Development or GIS Software Design.

The Graduate Program offers a M.A., M.S., and Ph.D. in Geography.  Graduate studies are encouraged to study within the department specializations within the Geography discipline:  Urban Economic, Natural Environmental/Physical Geography, and Geographic Information Analysis.
