The purpose of the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geography is to provide students with an understanding of the discipline of geography. This includes courses in physical, human, and cultural geography, as well methods courses that provide exposure to the various tools and techniques of geographic research.  

The goal of the Master of Arts in Geography program is to provide graduate level education that enables students to address community concerns through applied geographic research. Graduates with an MA in Applied Geography will have integrative skills that link human activity to natural systems, and that apply a spatial perspective to human and natural processes.
