The Geology department offers the B.S. and B.A. degrees in Geology, as well as a Geology Minor. We also offer an Earth Science option for High School Teachers (in conjunction with the College of Education), and collaborate with the Department of Civil Engineering in offering a dual degree.

The Geology Department offers the M.S. degree in geology. This is widely considered today as being the entry-level degree for graduates expecting to make a career in geology. It is also excellent preparation for further studies leading to the Ph.D. degree, for those students planning a career in research or academics.
